Oasis Counseling
Ultimately, we strive to educate, expose, strengthen, reunite, and preserve the core family, while helping families develop appropriate boundaries and decrease inappropriate behaviors. To assist with this process our staff will intervene in the school setting when and where needed, while providing ongoing structure and support to the entire family. We will also strive to empower and educate families on how to successfully utilize community and internal resources to achieve positive results.
The Center is operated under the direction of Dr. Richard M. Mason, II, LPC who brings over fifteen years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families in crisis. The lead clinical staff brings subject matter expertise to the center in their respective areas with each of them holding terminal degree and/or license from the State of Virginia in the fields of psychology, social work, marriage & family therapy and professional counseling. All intensive in-home providers will hold a minimum of a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with substantial experience in their respective areas.
